Nevada County Sheriff's Department has three full-time Patrol Deputies and Fifteen Reserve Deputies. All Deputies have completed the required training and are certified officers with the Department of Law enforcement Standards.  

The Deputies patrol the county, serving civil process and taking calls assisting the citizens and visitors of the county.

Nevada County Sheriff's Department has one K-9, Diego.
