Happy Thanksgiving

Sheriff Danny Martin and his employees at the Nevada County Sheriff's Department would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Sheriff Martin would like to remind everyone that school will be out November 19th- November 23rd so let's watch for our little ones to be out and about whether it be deer hunting or outside playing.

During these Holidays please remember to drive safely and obey the speed limits and allow time for any hazardous weather conditions.

And please don't Drink and Drive, deputies will be watching for any impaired drivers.

As the colder weather arrives we remind everyone to check on their elderly neighbors and make sure everyone has the heat that may be needed to stay warm.
