On Thursday April 13th 2017 Investigator Jeremy Hendrix and Deputy Justin Hughes received information that an individual with several warrants out of Nevada County was at a residence located on Hempstead County Road 55. Hendrix and Hughes made contact with Hempstead County Investigator Gary Dorman who sent Hempstead County Deputies Turbervile and Malone to assist. Greg Daniel 23 yr old W/M was located hiding in a barn. Daniel was taken into custody and was transported to the Nevada County Detention facility. Greg Daniel was arrested on nine Felony warrants out of Nevada County with the most recent being for the theft of a ATV valued at $4500.00. Daniel also will face charges for possession of drug paraphernalia that was found after he arrived at the detention facility.
