Residential burglary leads to drug arrest

On Thursday the 23 day of August at approximately 5:23 A.M. Deputy Bo Morris, Deputy Bernard Box and Prescott Investigator Cody Ferguson responded to a call at 4973 Hwy 24 in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked at a residence.

Upon arrival contact was made with two white males one outside of the residence and one on the inside.

The suspect outside was identified as Coy Raybon from Bearden, Ar. Raybon stated that his mother lived at the residence and that he was staying there.

The owner of the residence son arrived on scene and stated that the residence had been vacant for over six months and that no one was suppose to be at the residence.

Coy Raybon was placed in custody along with the suspect inside of the residence identified as John Dinsmore from Shreveport, Loiuisana. Coy Raybon was searched finding drug paraphernalia on his person. John Dinsmore was searched finding two baggies that contained a clear crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.

Evidence showed that the residence had damage to the screen door and the lock on the inside door.

Deputy Morris noticed that inside of the residence there were marijuana plants hanging from a doorway in plain view. Investigator Robert Missey was contacted at this time.

Investigator Missey and the owner arrived at the scene. The owner verified that no one was suppose to be at the residence and gave consent to enter the residence.

Deputies entered the residence confiscating two marijuana plants along with other paraphernalia associated with the use of methamphetamine.

The owner also identified a trailer that was hitched behind the vehicle parked at the residence as belonging to him.

Coy Raybon 33 yr old W/M was transported to the Nevada County Detention facility where he awaits first appearance on the charges of Residential Burglary, Theft of Property,Possession of drug paraphernalia and Manufacturing of a controlled substance.

John Dinsmore awaits first appearance on the charges of Residential Burglary, Possession of a controlled substance (Meth), Possession of drug Paraphernalia(Meth) and manufacturing of a controlled substance(Marijuana).
