Harold Latin

On Thursday the 1st day of November 2018 Deputies were dispatched to 208 West 2nd in Emmet, Ark in reference to shots being fired.

Deputies arrived and made contact with individuals at the residence that stated that Harold Latin and son Adrian Latin had an altercation at the residence. The residence belonged to Adrian Latin.

Several witnesses stated that Harold Latin left the residence and later returned with a shotgun. Evidence showed that Harold Latin fired one shot through a window where Adrian Latin and another individual were seated. Harold then entered the residence and fired another shot at his son Adrian Latin as he was attempting to get away. No one was hit during the incident.

Deputy Bo Morris, Investigator Robert Missey, Deputy Justin Hughes and Deputy Bernard Box went to Harold Latin's residence and made contact with Latin. During conversation with Harold Latin he stated that the Shotgun was under his bed in the residence and stated that Investigator Missey could take possession of the firearm.

Harold Latin was placed under arrest for possession of a firearm by certain persons and for attempted murder. Latin was turned over to the Nevada County Detention facility where he awaits first appearance.
