Drug Arrest and Domestic Battery

On October 25th 2018 Chief Deputy Larry Miller received information that a suspect in a domestic battery that had occurred earlier would be in a Silver Dodge Avenger near the old Prescott Middle School building. Information was also received that a passenger in the vehicle would be Rheanna Jester. Jester showed to have a valid felony warrant at the time.

Chief Miller and Deputy Bo Morris set up in the area to watch for the vehicle.

Chief Miller observed the vehicle pass by his location and pulled in behind the vehicle.

The vehicle turned and traveled towards the back of the old school. Chief Miller activated his emergency lights to make a stop on the vehicle and Deputy Morris approached from behind the school towards the vehicle.

Chief Miller approached the driver identifying him as Jesse Loe. As Deputy Morris was walking up to the front of the vehicle he observed the female passenger throw a Camouflage eye-glass case into the wooded area next to the vehicle. Deputy Morris removed the female identified as Rheanna Jester from the vehicle and placed her into custody. Chief Miller placed Jesse Loe in custody for the earlier domestic battery.

Deputy Morris retrieved the eye-glass case observing that it contained a clear plastic bag with a clear crystal-like residue believed to be methamphetamine, a clear glass smoking pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine and a clear plastic vile which contained a clear crystal residue believed to be methamphetamine.

A search of the vehicle was conducted locating In the passenger seat  a purse that contained Ms. Jester's Arkansas Identification card, also inside this purse was a clear plastic tube with a clear crystal residue believed to be methamphetamine, a clear plastic bag containing a clear crystal residue believed to be methamphetamine ,a wooden box containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a smoking pipe used for smoking marijuana also in the side pouch of the purse were two digital scales with a clear crystal residue believed to be methamphetamine.

Jesse Loe was transported to the Nevada County Detention facility for the charge of Domestic Battery 3rd.

Rheanna Jester was transported to the Nevada County Detention facility and was served the felony warrant along with the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule VI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Methamphetamine) , Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Marijuana). Mr. Loe's charges are; Domestic Battery 3rd Degree and Driving on a Suspended Drivers License. Both are awaiting First Judicial Appearance.
