On Friday November 30th 2018 approximately 2329, 8th Task Force North, Deputy Bo Morris was patrolling Interstate 30 around the 47 mm westbound when he observed a white Hyundai passenger car bearing Missouri license, traveling westbound with a defective passenger side headlight and also no license plates light.

Deputy Morris made a traffic stop on the vehicle near the 46 mile marker. Deputy Morris observed a strong odor of what was known to him to be marijuana coming from within the vehicle. 

K-9 Deputy Jeremy Hendrix arrived on scene for backup at this time.

The occupants of the vehicle were advised of the odor detected and were asked to exit the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle was conducted locating several items of drug paraphernalia along with an undetermined amount of marijuana, pills believed to contain ecstasy and an undetermined amount of a white powder believed to be cocaine. 

Three individuals were placed under arrest at this time W/M Mark Pobanz, W/M Mason Gable and W/M Devin Gable all from Illinois were transported to the Nevada County Detention facility to await first appearance charges for possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
